  • How do I reserve a room?

    The best way to book your stay with us is through our website, and you’re already here!  BOOK NOW and make your reservation through our easy online system. 

  • Can I pay for my stay with cash or check?

    We are a cashless property, and all reservations must be secured with a credit or debit card prior to check-in. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay online.

  • How do I book a block of rooms or the entire Inn for my wedding or event?

    Yes! East Rock Inn is the ideal home base for friends and family to gather. Email us at frontdesk@eastrockinn.com or fill out the form on our CONTACT US page, and we will customize a discount rate and plan that's perfect for your group.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We know that one size does not fit all when it comes to travel, so we offer options:

    • Non-Refundable Rates and Specials are just that - non-refundable. No cancellations allowed at any time.
    • Our Standard Rate policies for rooms are as follows:
    • Cancellations and changes may be made by 3:00 pm 14 days prior to the arrival date without penalty.
    • Cancellations made after 3:00 pm 14 days prior to arrival date incur a full-stay charge, including all taxes and fees.
    • Shortened stays incur a $50 change fee 7-14 days prior to arrival. Stays may not be shortened after 3:00 pm 7 days prior to arrival date. Stays may not be shortened on minimum night weekends.
    • No shows are charged full reservation rate.

    Cancellation policies may differ for special offers and on OTA bookings. Check the policy information when booking.



  • What Is the cancellation policy for group bookings?

    • Bookings of 3 or more rooms for any length of time and stays of 4+ nights in any of our rooms are refundable up to  60 days prior to arrival. 
    • Cancellations or shortening of reservation length by 3 PM 59-31 days prior to reservation will result in a cancelation fee of 50% of the reservation total, including taxes and fees. 
    • No refunds are given within 30 days of the arrival date.

  • Does your 2 Bedroom Apartment have different cancellation policies?

    Yes. Our 2-Bedroom Apartment has the following policies:

    Non-refundable discounted rates are just that, non-refundable 24 hours after booking. 

    Standard Rate Policies:

    For stays less than 5 days:

    Full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.  No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.

    For stays of 5-27 days:

    Full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.

    For stays of 28+ days:

    Full refund if cancelled within 24  hours of booking and at least 28 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable.


  • Do you offer discounts for longer stays?

    We offer tiered discounts for stays of  5+ days in all our rooms and special discounts for stays of 28+ days in our 2-bedroom apartment and suites. Click BOOK NOW to see the reduced rates.


  • Do you have an ADA accessible room?

    Room 1 is our ADA  Queen One-Bedroom suite with a kitchenette, roll-in shower, and direct access to our backyard, with a dedicated ADA parking space right in front. Make sure to look for the ADA designation when booking your room. Our lobby and common areas are ADA-accessible as well. This is not a pet-friendly room, but certified service dogs are welcome.

  • How can I get promotional deals and discounts for stays at East Rock Inn?

    Be sure to sign up for our newsletter HERE.  Our mailing list members get first dibs on seasonal specials and promotions.

  • What time is check-in/check-out?

    Self check-in begins at 3:00 pm. 

    You will receive a text prior to check-in time with a digital door code and your room number. When you arrive, park directly in front of your room, use the code to enter your room, and start your vacation! 

    Check-out is at 11:00 am. You will get a text reminder to check out and can easily manage it on your phone.


  • Can I check in early?

    We cannot guarantee early check-ins at the time of booking but may be able to honor the request closer to your arrival date. If available, early check-in starts at 1:00 pm for an additional $50 fee

  • How about late check-out?

    As a boutique, independent motel, our turnaround times can be quite fast, so we cannot always accommodate late check-outs. Guests without prior approval will be charged $50 per hour from 11:00 am-1:00 pm and will be charged a full night’s stay after 1:00 pm.


  • Is there a concierge or manager on site?

    Our virtual front desk is just a text away, and someone from our team is always on the property or nearby. 

    Once you receive your reservation email and text you are part of our East Rock Inn community and able to reach us via text throughout your stay. We’re available to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and bring fresh supplies or amenities if needed.

  • Do you supply complimentary room amenities?

    All of East Rock Inn’s rooms and suites come with bath products from Public Goods, Mount Hagen coffee and Republic of Tea teas, Bodum electric kettles, hairdryers, premium bed linens, organic cotton pillows, plush towels, and cozy extra blankets. Our beds feature Allerease hypoallergenic mattress encasements and pillow covers to ensure an allergen-free stay.


  • Do you have Wifi?

    Wifi is free in all rooms and throughout the motel for our guests.

  • Do your rooms have TVs?

    Yes. All of our rooms are equipped with Roku Smart TVs. Simply enter your check-out date on the TV, use your own streaming accounts during your stay, and Roku will automatically delete your settings upon check-out.

  • Where do I park my car?

    All rooms have a free parking spot in front of them or a few steps away. Please let us know if you need more than one spot, and we will try to accommodate you. 

    Trailers may incur additional parking fees and we cannot guarantee space for them.


  • Can I bring my dog?

    We have two designated pet-friendly rooms:

    There is a king studio and a Double Queen Studio. If your dog will be joining you, you must book one of these rooms and let us know about your pet before you arrive. We charge a $25/nt pet fee, and guests must agree to all pet policies listed on the Policies Page when their reservation is confirmed. 


  • Do you have rollaway beds or cribs?

    We do not provide rollaway beds or cribs.  We do offer several family-size room options including suites and deluxe rooms with sofa beds. Please note that our rooms are not child-proofed.

  • Is there housekeeping service?

    All guestrooms are thoroughly cleaned and replenished between reservations and serviced on the third night of a longer stay. If you desire supplementary cleaning, we may be able to arrange it with 24 hours notice for an additional fee.

  • Is smoking allowed on the property?

    No smoking or vaping is permitted in guestrooms or common spaces of East Rock Inn, including the courtyard, backyard, walkways, and parking areas.


  • Anything else guests should know?
